The school is doing a series of rehearsals with their principal conductor Mr Mark Eager which will culminate in a concert on March 14th @6pm in the Great Hall Sandfields comprehensive school  (anyone interested is welcome to attend, entry £3 on the door).  The concert will allow pupils from Year 7 through to year 11 to perform with the professional musicians of the Welsh Sinfonia Orchestra.  The Sinfonia will also play a selection of orchestral favourites to help to inspire the young people of our community (as well as their friends and families) to start listening to and enjoying classical music.

This is a fantastic opportunity as only a small number of schools are involved in this prestigious event.
