25th August 2020

Our relocation is now well underway and the time has come for us to switch off all of our machines and pack them up for shipping to our new building. Once again we would like to apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause and we will endeavour to return the service to normal as quickly as possible.

8th July 2020

We are on the move!
The time has finally arrived for ELRS to relocate to our new premises. The relocation will start at the beginning of August 2020 and should take approximately 8 weeks to complete.
We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause and we will endeavour to continue to operate as best we can during this time.

June 2020 - COVID19

We will be re-opening from the 22nd June, with some limitations.

The majority of our services will return to normal including our mobile delivery/collection service. However, for the time being we will be unable to accept visitors to the centre but will providing a designated drop-off and collection area for those wishing to collect or return items.

Welcome to the Education Library and Resource Service

We are a cross-county, school resource unit based in Port Talbot.
Schools and Educational Establishments can access the ELRS by means of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) which will enable access to a comprehensive resource provision catering for all your school resources requirements.
To find out more about SLA prices, please contact Richard Jones, Senior Officer.

ELRS is divided into three main areas:
  • Books Department
  • Reprographics Department
  • Library Consultation Service
Each of the above areas is described in more detail in the relevant areas of this site which you can select using the menu on the left.
ELRS is open all year round and our doors are always open to visitors.

Our Mission Statement
